Should I get Metal or Canvas?
Each medium has its own advantages, so the choice is really based on what you need and want.
Canvas prints offer a classic gallery look, very low light reflection, and good color and resolution. They also lack the sharp edge that metal prints can have. Canvas prints are great for rooms with lots of windows and reflections, or for those that prefer the canvas look.
Metal Prints offer a decidedly modern look, with the option for rounded corners, and different types of finish. Metal prints can be printed like a standard photo with satin, matte, or gloss finishes--just keep in mind that the glossy finish is highly reflective! The Satin or Matte finish is much better for those wishing to avoid reflections. Metal prints can also be printed directly on to raw metal for a slightly darker but deeply iridescent and metallic quality. And best of all, metal prints can be cleaned with a damp cloth or glass cleaner--making them a great choice for bathrooms, kitchens or anywhere near a splash zone.
